#SocialSong Saturday No. 34 – Who to Follow on Twitter
#FF is still too boring and facile for recognizing the people worth following on Twitter – so I’m still singing their praises instead
After a few weeks of featuring MRTs (Musical Retweets), I’m back to the original Twitter Love Song, singing the praises of four from the Twittering class worth following:
@MartinWaxman Martin had a couple of interesting guest posts on Spin Sucks recently, concerning Klout and the real nature of social influence. He enlisted the Spin Sucks community in a experiment to inflate his ego, er, Klout score – and even gave away custom t-shirts to commemorate the effort. His post prompted me to finally write my own about recognizing the difference between measuring influence and rewarding social activity.
@jeffswystun Jeff is someone I’ve just started following, mostly for the view from his perch as an agency consultant. I particularly appreciated an AdAge piece he wrote, shared by someone I follow (sorry, can’t recall who), about what the seemingly dysfunctional “family” of digital agency clients, leaders and staff say in private.
@kuno Kuno Creative is an enterprising, enterprise-level inbound marketing agency (a Hubspot partner; hence, the musical shout out to them in today’s song). They regularly put out useful, high-quality content of their own, which is reason enough to follow them.
Is there anyone new you’re following on Twitter that everyone should absolutely know about? Then please leave their Twitter handle in your comment below.
Thanks for stopping by – I hope you have a great (SocialSong) Saturday.
